Help to stay Snipermania online!

I post here about this subject with the permission of the site admins.

Maybe some of you already heard, if not, here it is:

Due to financial problems, it looks like that Snipermania will stop in the end of November. Currently only [BSC]Girly and [BSC]Santacow pay they server alone. We created a PayPal account long ago for the server and we advertised this on the server and our homepage, without much success. (Thanks goes to Graffman for his donation.)

We ask your help now. If you like the server, and want it to stay online in the future, we would be pleased for some donation.

Hi there Johnny,

I'd be willing to make a decent sized donation providing the admining improves, for example - select players from the community being given moderator status on the server.

I'm tired of having to go on there only to find 2 people sat watching a spawn in caves, 433, badneighbours etc.

I'm tired of people spamming their binds 17 times or spamming their map choices as they seem to think its a great idea.

Great server but not enough annoyance moderation.

If the server dies, its been great playing on it a lot of the time and I thank those who paid for it throughout its time - it'd be a great shame to see the last good public sniper server die.

i think the people which dont got an own clanserver or dont pay for one but still want to play some public SA should be the first ones which pay some money.

Our clan got enough own stuff to pay so all i can do it telling the community that if SM will die´the Scene will be much more inactiv than before.

I would be glad to participate at "the snipermania resurection" , but not in these conditions that the server is actually running . Full of lamers , spawncampers ..etc.. and also LAGS like hell when there is more than 10-12 players on server .

Maybe u could think about to create 2 or 3 servers 5v5 with autoswitch for players who try to join when one of those servers is full .
I mean like tammy servers .

1) It would limit the number of lamers in one server

2) It would reduce the lag on server

3) It would help admins to "moderate" each server , but need active admins ofc .

4)And imo 5v5 is rly better than 10v10lame powwaa

maybe ur idea is good @zrt but its hard to get these ppl back again i think .. coz i think some of those public ppl may wont know the new ip
Like TR changed ip and dunno if its still empty but .. when i looked it was always empty while it was a popular server when they had the old ip.

hehehe donated €2 all i had on my paypal, and since i dont play UT anymore i dont really feel like putting money/time on it

well, the same goes for me,

I simply never play on servers like SM anymore because they are full of lame pieces of sh1t.

I'm also only willing to pay if something will change and since johnny hasn't replied on it himself yet I doubt he's still intereseted in changing the quality of his server and the players on it and thus receiving a payment.

i understand ur opinions but that dont change the Point.
i know manny people are playing on SM since like 5-6 years and its a shame that nobody care much about anymore when it comes to help the server^^
but nvm,..hf without a activ SA public then.

Can't say it better than CRO.

I wouldn't pay for see Killer T16 lama and their friends ruins the game. When i whined about that here, i had: go play on pug, don't whine, increase your skill, blablabla... So now, i don't play on pug, i don't play on SM anymore too. If something change with all these lamers that would be different but not in these conditions. Johny made this topic on 10/15, we are the 11/4 and no answer from him, so, imo, nothing will change. R.I.P SM

@CRO, why would you warn lamers ? aaa - paull - killer t16 have been already warned and warned.
